Video Emerges From Nebraska Tight End Arik Gilbert's Arrest

The Nebraska football program received some troubling news about transfer tight end Arik Gilbert this week.

The former five-star recruit was booked on a felony burglary charge after he broke into a store.

According to the Lincoln Police Department, Gilbert was found with over $1,600 of stolen products from a liquor and vape store that incurred $650 in damages from the alleged break-in.

If the details weren't bad enough, a video has emerged. The video allegedly shows Gilbert walking past a store to stake it out.

Not long later, he shows up in frame once again - this time with a shirt covering his face.

After breaking down a door and accumulating some goods, Gilbert notices police have shown up and tosses the stolen merchandise. He is then handcuffed by police.

Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule said the team thought it was doing a good job taking care of Arik, but mentioned he's been struggling lately.
