Tua Tagovailoa Reportedly Gets Promising Health New

There's finally some good news regarding the health of Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Tagovailoa has finally cleared the NFL's concussion protocol. He had been in the protocol ever since the Monday after the Dolphins' Week 16 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Tagovailoa has met with medical professionals while waiting to be cleared. After meeting with them, it was determined that he should be at "100-percent" health when the Dolphins resume playing football this summer.

That definitely bodes well for the Dolphins picking up Tua's fifth-year option. He's heading into his fourth year with the team since going No. 5 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Unfortunately, the Dolphins quarterback sustained no less than two concussions throughout the course of the season and the amount of time he missed led many to believe that he might be forced to retire for the sake of his own health.
