Chicago White Sox star shortstop Tim Anderson was suspended for six games by Major League Baseball for his role in a fight with Jose Ramirez of the Cleveland Guardians earlier this month.
Anderson's suspension was reduced to five games on Thursday, but the White Sox star took some time to issue an apology for his actions that led to the ban.
Anderson will begin serving his suspension tomorrow night when the White Sox play the Colorado Rockies. He'll be eligible to return for the series finale against the Seattle Mariners at home on Wednesday.
