The NBA Has Addressed The Celtics-Heat Clock Controversy

The NBA has confirmed that everything was called correctly toward the end of Game 6 of the Heat-Celtics series on Saturday night.

In a news release, the league confirmed that everything was called right in the final three seconds, including Derrick White's game-winning basket.

Some fans thought he didn't get the ball off before the buzzer but the league threw cold water on that thought.

The NBA also confirmed that Jimmy Butler did not double dribble before he was fouled on a three-point attempt.

White's buzzer-beater saved the Celtic's season and forced Game 7 back in Boston on Monday night.

The Celtics are attempting to be the first team in NBA history to come back from down 0-3 in a playoff series.

If they win, they'll take on the Denver Nuggets, who recently swept the Los Angeles Lakers, in the NBA Finals.
