The Eagles Signed Two Veteran Free Agents On Sunday Afternoon

The Philadelphia Eagles reportedly added to their linebacking corps with a pair of defensive signings on Sunday.

Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, the team signed former Steelers linebacker Myles Jack and former Titans/Texans linebacker Zach Cunningham to one-year deals.

Eagles signed defensive tackles Ndamukong Suh and Linval Joseph on the same day last season.

Jack played in 15 games for Pittsburgh last year where he made 13 starts.

In those appearances the former second-round pick logged 104 tackles, three pass deflections and a QB hit.

Meanwhile Cunningham tallied 93 tackles, seven tackles for loss and a forced fumble in 10 games split between Houston and Tennessee.

Both should serve as solid veteran additions to a defense that is stout from front to back, but could use some depth in the linebacker department.
