Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater Has Reportedly Signed With A New NFL Team

Teddy Bridgewater is on the move again. The veteran quarterback is returning to the NFC.

The Detroit Lions are signing Bridgewater following a recent visit with the team, according to multiple reports.

Detroit will be the sixth franchise for Bridgewater and the fourth in the last four seasons for the 2014 first-round pick.

Bridgewater spent last season with the Miami Dolphins, where he appeared in five games and started two.

The University of Louisville product connected on 49-of-79 passes for four touchdowns and four interceptions.

Bridgewater, 30, previously spent time with the Denver Broncos (2021), Carolina Panthers (2020), New Orleans Saints (2018-19) and Minnesota Vikings (2014-17).

Bridgewater missed the entire 2016 season and almost all of 2017 after suffering a severe knee injury in Minnesota's 2016 training camp.
