Lorenzen etched his name in the Philadelphia sports history books by throwing the 14th no-hitter in Phillies history.

He completed the feat against the division rival Washington Nationals in his first start as a Phillies at home in Citizens Bank Park.

It's the first no-hitter at the park since the legendary Roy Halladay no-hit the Cincinnati Reds in Game 1 of the 2010 NLDS.

Lorenzen allowed four walks in his outing on Wednesday night, and struck out five batters.

It's the first time the Nationals have been no-hit since moving to Washington in 2005.

Wednesday is the fifth time the franchise has been no-hit, with the previous four coming while the team was the Montreal Expos.
