Former Clemson Quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei Named Starting Quarterback At New School

With the 2023 college football season approaching, Oregon State has made a decision regarding its most important position on the field.

Former Clemson quarterback D.J. Uiagalelei will be the Beavers starter in 2023, according to Nick Daschel of The Oregonian.

"A source told The Oregonian/OregonLive that Uiagalelei was informed of the decision Monday night.

The 6-foot-5, 251-pound junior competed with fourth-year sophomore Ben Gulbranson and freshman Aidan Chiles for the starting job."

Uiagalelei spent the past three seasons with the Tigers under head coach Dabo Swinney,

During his three seasons at Clemson, Uiagalelei completed 60 percent of his passes for 5,681 yards and 36 touchdowns.
