Ex-Yankees Prospect Rips Organization For How They Go About Thing

A former New York Yankees minor leaguer criticized the organization's number-heavy developmental approach.

Ruta predicted the team will "clear house" of staffers brought on by recently fired hitting coach Dillon Lawson.

"They will change developmental culture back to old Yankees days," Ruta said.

When asked for an example, Ruta recalled a "pitchers vs. hitters" game they played during 2020 before the COVID outbreak ended spring training.
