Cowboys Will Reportedly Meet With Former 1st Round Pick Who Had Legal Issue

Damon Arnette said he already has a meeting scheduled after settling a legal issue Monday.

According to an Associated Press report, the former Las Vegas Raiders cornerback pleaded guilty to two misdemeanors from a 2022 gun case.

Following his court appearance, Arnette claimed he's flying to Dallas to talk to the Cowboys.

"I've learned a lot. I'm remorseful about everything," Arnette told reporters. "I appreciate and respect another opportunity. I'm a better man than I was."

The former first-round pick played 13 with the Raiders,

who released Arnette in 2021 after a video emerged of him appearing to threaten somebody's life while brandishing a gun.
