Arch Manning breaks ‘unbreakable’ school record

The college football recruitment of Arch Manning might be over but the Texas recruit is not done making headlines on his high school team.

And that means breaking various records, including those set by his uncles, Peyton and Eli.

The No. 1 quarterback recruit in the 2023 class committed to play for the Texas Longhorns next year.

But this year, he’s a senior at Isidore Newman in New Orleans.

The team is currently 6-1 with two games left before the playoffs and Manning is remaking the school’s record book in his name,

even though most of the previous records belonged to someone with his name already.

Manning already has the school record for career passing touchdowns,

which previously belonged to Peyton, and the record for career passing yards, which was held by Eli.

Last Friday, on a night when he was 16-of-20 for 258 yards and four touchdowns, he accounted for his 129th career touchdown, a new school record.
