Aaron Rodgers played decently against the Tennessee Titans on Thursday Night Football yesterday,

but it wasn't enough as his team lost 27-17 to fall to 4-7 on the season.

Arguably the biggest reason his team couldn't get over the top was his inaccuracy,

as he was held to 24 of 39 for a completion rate of 61.5-percent. After the game, Rodgers conceded that his accuracy was a big factor in the loss.

"I've got to throw the ball better than I did tonight," Rodgers said, via ESPN. "Not a lot of margin for error for us and definitely not against a team that gives you some opportunities. We've got to have those plays."

Rodgers didn't have a bad game, per se, but his situational football was rough at times. He missed open receivers on several crucial third down situations and took a sack with 2:39 remaining in the game.

There are a lot of players who haven't played up to par for the Green Bay Packers this season.

But given that the entire team is built around Aaron Rodgers and his unique skillset to the exclusion of pretty much all other methods of running an offense, he's the one player that the team can't afford to play below an MVP level on a regular basis.

Given that Rodgers doesn't have a single game of over 300 passing yards this season, it doesn't look like he'll be three-peating as MVP this year.

Now at 4-7 on the season, the Packers will be lucky to avoid picking outside the top 10 in the 2023 NFL Draft.
